Alone

3.10 Miles

I believe every human born has a distinct gift to the world. Unfortunately I believe mistakes or divine plan stalls and sometimes cuts short many of our talents. I also believe outside of calculated mentoring and group affiliation these special traits can only be found once we dig deep enough within ourselves, alone.

I believe the Universe begins to cater to those of us who go on and through personal journeys of struggle in order to attain a higher understand of our purpose. I believe the more we run toward the direction of our inherent gifts the faster they present themselves in our life. Most of my realization about this concept has come to me while I was alone fighting personal battles that no one could possibly help me with.

I was once told that character is doing the right thing when no one is looking. I believe the flipside to that coin is that our purpose is found when we dedicate ourselves to fights that will never meet the public's eye.

Breath seeped into my lungs this morning, so I did some "mining" so to say, on myself. That's my debt for seeing another day.

I pray my theory is correct, and I have the strength to go at my imperfections "Alone"  as I pray you do as well.
