Starting anything is an ugly process. The first few attempts make or break you. This isn't the first time I've started something. What I've realized to be pretty effective in starting is to have someone close who's further down the road than you at the goal you wish to be at. We can use that person as a healthy measuring stick.
At the same time we can use the objectives we've accomplished on the way to remember how far we've come. Not too many things worth it in life are easy. I'm learning to appreciate "starting things" but at the same I've realized that not too many things are ever finished. As for myself I'll never be a finished product. My current struggle to get healthier will continue until I can't run at all.
I pray you all find personal peace in working on whatever personal goal you choose.
